The Ivorian newspaper Le Monda writes that the Tindouf camps in southwestern Algeria are a "source of tension and a time bomb" that threatens the security of the region.
The author of the article, published today, Thursday, under the title "The Sahel and the Sahara, terrorist and criminal threats are spreading," confirmed that this region already suffers from serious challenges, especially terrorism, which causes hundreds of civilian casualties in many Sahel countries.
The Ivorian newspaper added that, according to many international experts, the Tindouf camps are considered reserves for the recruitment of terrorists for various terrorist organizations active in this region, with the blessing and paid complicity of the leaders of the "Polisario Front".
The newspaper also stressed that the officials of the Polisario Front are working under the orders of the military regime of a country that continues to provide all the necessary political, diplomatic, financial and military support to this alleged entity.
The same source pointed out that "this country has wasted nearly a trillion dollars (one thousand billion) at the expense of its people to support this lost cause and to perpetuate fifty years of suffering and pain that the isolated population of the Tindouf camps is subjected to, depriving them of the most basic rights of freedom of movement or expression. And to a decent life."
The newspaper stated that the international community has condemned this situation for decades without conducting an accurate census of these "refugees" by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, pointing to the continuation of this destabilizing regime, whose anger against Morocco is embodied in its insistence on continuing as a source of support and funding for all calling movements. To hatred, destruction and attacks on the security of many countries of the continent, in the work for nearly five decades of its "agent" "Polisario" to increase division, chaos and violence on our continent, especially in the Sahel region.
The author of the article continues that in this context, according to several sources in the intelligence world, "Polisario" has formed alliances with terrorist groups active in the Sahel region.
The Ivorian newspaper pointed out that "Polisario, in order to finance itself or to enrich its leaders, is actively involved in human trafficking with African migrants and in trafficking of all kinds, and exploits the proliferation and abundance of weapons resulting from the international trade in the Sahel-Saharan region".
According to the same source, it has been documented that many of its members have joined terrorist movements in order to implement the destructive agenda of this client entity, which targets the Kingdom of Morocco and other countries in the region (Mali, Niger and Burkina Faso). It includes representatives of the "Polisario" during their "meetings" who call for committing terrorist acts against Morocco.
The newspaper concluded that, in a dangerous development, "Polisario", through the voice of Bashir Mustafa al-Sayyid, a member of the so-called "National Secretariat of Polisario", issued a clear call to commit terrorist attacks in the Moroccan Sahara.
