Striking Boeing workers have agreed to a new draft agreement that would end their seven-week strike that has cost the company and suppliers more than $10 billion.
The union, which had previously rejected two offers, said the deal was approved by 59 percent and would raise wages close to their demands.
More than 33,000 workers in the Seattle area in the northwest United States will return to work at a major assembly plant.
"The strike is over and we now have to get back to work and start building airplanes and putting this company back on the road to financial success," union president John Holden said at a news conference.
"I'm proud of our union members. They've done a lot and we're ready to move forward," he added.
The offer, presented late Thursday, includes a 38 percent pay increase over four years, compared with the union's 40 percent.
